چکیده
Background: Essential oils extracted from plants have been widely used in antimicrobial activity, particularly the Callistemon viminalis, with a high number of essential extracted. Objectives: To identify chemical composition oil derived viminalis and evaluates its activity against selected bacterial fungal strains. Subjects methods: During study, different on some bacteria (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella enteritidis, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumonia) fungus (Candida albicans) was evaluated. The MicroScan WalkAway automated device to confirm identification microorganisms germ tube microscopy detection confirmed identity specific morphological features after growth corn meal agar, this study. Results: GC-MS analysis reveal that contained Eucalyptol (41.17%) area, Viridiflorol (8.43%) Alpha-Pinene (4.53%) Alpha-Terpineol area others. shows aureus inhibition zone diameter 10 mm, for pneumoniae, ihibition 22 mm. Conclusion: highest S. pneumonia Gram-positive bacteria. study result show resistance Gram-negative C. albicans oil. These varying results suseptabilty may be based construction cell wall between components detected higher percent are Eucalyptol, alpha-Pinene, Viridiflorol, beta-Eudesmol, alpha-Tocopherol.
